Sat-Sun, Oct. 4-5 11-3. John Burroughs’ Woodchuck Lodge open for free tours, last chance this season! 1633 Burroughs Memorial Rd., Roxbury (follow signs from NYS Rte 30 north of the hamlet). Cider press demo and tasting Sunday 12-2.
Sat., Oct. 4, 1 p.m. Wild Saturday at John Burroughs’ Woodchuck Lodge: A Nature Walk for Families. A one-hour foray through field and forest at Manhattan Country School Farm with MCS Program Director John McDaniel. Meet at Woodchuck Lodge, 1633 Burroughs Memorial Rd., Roxbury (follow signs from NYS Rte 30). Wear sturdy shoes/boots and extra layers! www.woodchucklodge.org
