Better Turns for More Fun

Want to max out your Catskills skiing and snowboarding fun?
Highmount resident Howard Harrison, a PSIA certified Master Teacher wants to share the secrets that deliver maximum fun and performance the EZ way.
 
A Pre-season off snow tune up guarantees better turns and more fun.
 
Howard's lengthy ski journey has encompassed 50 North American ski areas and 11 European resorts. His ski-teaching resume includes multiple seasons at Belleayre and Hunter as well as ten years in Aspen and 33 seasons at Plattekill.
 
Skiing or Snowboarding offers fun at every level. Anyone can enjoy sliding down a slippery slope.  If you like to dance or can navigate stairs or ride a bike you're on your way to major snow time fun.

Each session will allow plenty of time for Q & A with
focus on individual needs.  Handouts will be provided.

We are looking to set up a weekly workshop on these topics. Please email info@pinehillcommunitycenter.org if interested. We are trying to determine the best day and time.

A free introductory drum class will be offered today from 1 pm - 2:15 pm. Experienced teacher of West African rhythm Durga Yael Bernhard is offering classes in a series of six this fall at the Pine Hill Community Center. $12 per class/$72 for total session.
No experience necessary; some djembe drums provided. 
A fun class of group polyrhythms! Come to the free intro to.
